Job Purpose
To achieve optimum
revenue from internet marketing stream
Duties and Responsibilities
o
Devise, review and
develop on an on-going basis and implement a strategy to capitalise on the
opportunities from this marketing stream
o
Refine and develop
group strategy to match the specific business requirements of each individual
business
o
Liaise with, educate
and inform directors of opportunities from this market stream
o
Monitor results from
internet marketing activity, evaluate effectiveness and refine future
activities
o
Identify and set
budgets for Internet Marketing
o
Monitor spend against
budget and effectiveness
o
Manage Internet
Marketing Team to achieve optimum results from this marketing stream
o
Identify, quantify,
set and evaluate performance standards for Internet Marketing Team
o
Identify, quantify and
set performance objectives for Internet Marketing Team personnel
o
Identify assessment
criteria of performance standards and objectives
o
Effectively
communicate performance standards, objectives and assessment criteria
o
Continually review and
assess sales team achievement against identified standards
o
Identify coaching and
training requirements of Internet Marketing Team personnel in order to achieve
objectives and performance standards.
o
Deliver coaching and
relevant training to Internet Marketing Team personnel in order to achieve
objectives and performance standards.
o
Monitor and manage
Search Engine Optimisation in order to maintain web sites on first page
position of major UK search engines
o
Establish and maintain
a comprehensive knowledge of current criteria utilised by search engines to
evaluate and position web sites
o
Identify and recommend
tactical action to address changes in criteria utilised by search engines to
evaluate and position web sites
o
Recommend improvements
and alterations to web sites in order to make them accessible to search engines
o
Advise and manage
future web site development in order to ensure search engine optimisation
o
Maintain and be able
to effectively demonstrate a comprehensive and current knowledge of web site
and development issues
o
Advise and recommend
cost effective methods of web site/search engine optimisation
o
Advise and recommend
strategy for adword, banner advert and pay per click bidding
o
Review, amend and
advise use of Key Words
o
Achieve a pass rate at
Google web site management examination.
o
Maintain a current and
accurate knowledge of competitor web sites and search engine optimisation
strategies.
o
Keep abreast of
competitor activity and recommend any necessary tactical action
o
IT Management
o
Learn and maintain a
working knowledge of the IT software and systems employed throughout
o
Provide assistance and
support to Employees regarding IT software
o
Maintain an accurate
and current client database and database management system
o
Identify and recommend
developments to ensure effective management of IT and database systems
o
Be able to demonstrate
a full knowledge of products and services
o
Provide a weekly
schedule of planned activities
o
Attend client and
events as appropriate
o
Achieve sales activities
within specified time-scales as directed by Sales & Marketing Director
o
Plan personal diary to
make effective use of working day
o
Provide time-phase
qualified reports on achievement and activities
o
Maintain high standard
of personal presentation
o
Understand fully and
communicate corporate objectives of the clients
o
Represent in a
professional manner at all times
o
Liaise with other
members of the Sales Team to actively promote sales opportunities, exchange
information and increase professionalism
o
Undertake all
responsibilities with reference to procedures
o
Ensure safe working
area and work procedures in line with Company policy
o
Undertake any
reasonable duties as specified by Managing Directors/Chairman/Group Sales and
Marketing Director
