Group Database Researcher
Job Purpose
To provide effective administrative and operational support; to enable Group Sales & Marketing Director to achieve targeted levels of sales
Duties and Responsibilities
o    Targeted tele-calling research to achieve sales
o    Effectively communicate with clients via telephone and written communication
o    Collate accurate contract details from client
o    Maintain an accurate and current database.
o    Identify and develop sources of potential clients
o    Research Potential clients to identify:
o    Basic contact details
o    The M.A.N./s
o    Nature of business
o    Parent Associate companies
o    Requirement for contract catering services
o    Requirement for products
o    Contract review criteria
o    Professionally and effectively employ sales skills to achieve targeted sales.
o    Develop and maintain relationships with Contract Clients that builds commitment
o    Advise Chairman/ Group Sales and Marketing Director of Contract Client
o    feedback/comment relating to contract performance and market place perception
o    Develop and maintain relationships which benefit the client
o    Overcome client resistance/objections to products
o    Increase the level of sales and business mix from individual clients
o    Increase share of each identified appropriate market sector
o    Understand fully and communicate corporate objectives to clients
o    Be able to demonstrate a full knowledge of relevant selling points and benefits
o    Be able to match appropriate features and benefits to clients’ requirements
o    Effectively communicate the benefits
o    Maintain a current and accurate knowledge of competitor products, be able to high light their disadvantages and promote relevant benefits
o    Keep abreast of competitor activity and recommend any necessary tactical action.
o    Media & Press Relations
o    Build and maintain effective database of Media and Press contacts.
o    Initiate and manage consistent supply of information to Media outlets.
o    Manage invitations, acceptances and guest lists for Client Entertaining and
o    Promotional Events
o    Attend client events as appropriate
o    Facilitate effective communication channels between all companies to maximise sales opportunities
o    Liaise with other members of the Sales Team to actively promote sales opportunities, exchange information and increase professionalism
o    Advise Managing Directors/Venue Operations Managers of client feedback/comments relating to product content, pricing and Venue/Event performance
o    Provide a weekly schedule of planned activities
o    Plan personal diary to make effective use of working day
o    Provide time-phase qualified reports on achievement and activities
o    Maintain accurate records of all contacts with clients
o    Identify and recommend tactical action to Sales and Marketing Director in order to achieve all above
o    Maintain high standard of personal presentation
o    Represent in a professional manner at all times
o    Undertake all responsibilities with reference to procedures
o    Ensure safe working area and work procedures in line with Company policy
o    Undertake any reasonable duties as specified by Sales and Marketing Director
Job Purpose
Increase the market share through the design and implementation of an aggressive marketing plan based on thorough analysis and evaluation of the local market.
Duties and Responsibilities
o    To research analyze and evaluate the competitive market environment
o    Monitor threats and opportunities and amend actions where necessary, to ensure brand/Sales development
o    To research – analyze all marketing activities of our business (sales – product mix – customer profile –demographic etc.) – campaign and propose effective ideas on :
o    Product positioning
o    Chain Positioning
o    Merchandise Point of Purchasing (POP)/Point of Sale (POS)
o    Local Store Marketing (LSM) Programs
o    Sales & Service training
o    Develops, manages and implements creative, effective and successful annual marketing plans for the stores along with the chain marketing strategy and annual market plan and budget
o    Marketing plans should include – Advertising, Sales Promotion, Public Relations, Product Development, Pricing & Distribution
o    Keep effective control of budgets
o    Prepare complete presentation of any advertising/promotional campaign to CEO
o    Supervises the monitoring of all advertising campaigns, news related to competitor to keep abreast of any developments to act accordingly
o    Inspects, reports, and ensures in co-ordination with Property Department that the company’s image is maintained at high standard
o    Comply with Company’s policy and procedures
o    Maintain close liaison with all departments on activities and seek any advise if required
o    Undertake any other responsibilities assigned to him by the CEO
